Hello Hello Hello Dear Readers, A very long time, many life changes, much sorrow, my mom's heart broken as I've not known, but I do say with much peace, God is faithful, God is good, God has not, nor ever will leave me broken, He heals, continues to heal and I am very, very thankful.
We are in a new state, new home, new places in our lives. We still continue on with living on the old paths as much as possible, although we have scaled down quiet a bit. We still are not completely settled, we still travel back and forth from TN to Ark. Lord willing, we will be completed by fall.
God made the way I have my sweet Elsie, who is do to calve in a week. We still have our rabbits, scaled down to our banties for chickens, which give me 2 eggs a day. ") and I still have my Baby Huey duck and 2 new geese, Pete and Re-Pete, both males.
No gardening this year, as grandson said when he helped us pack, "Granny, you and Papa have enough canned food to last a lifetime." As I was unpacking, I have to agree. Oh, my, I did a terrible job of rotating, but we have plenty of canned food from several past years of gardening and it still taste great.
So much to share, I won't take time just now, but will leave with a thought that has come to my mind these last months of unpacking and re-thinking all the changes in our lives now, it is from Sense and Senseability, the 2007 version, The Dashwood women have just lost the man in their lives, Mrs. Dashwood's cousin has offered them a cottage to live in. When they arrive to Barton Cottage, Mrs. Dashwood is a bit overwhelmed as the cottage is a far cry from Norland Park. As they look around the cottage Mrs. Dashwood says to Elinor, "Elinor, do you really think we can settle here?"
Elinor replies, "Of course we can, we must." This is what I have come to realize in my life now too.
We look to God our faithful, loving Father daily. He has blessed greatly. We are so thankful.
